What Orange County families should know when arranging care.
Orange County's Office on Aging offers free information and referrals for older adults and caregivers, and is a good first call if you are just starting to look at options.
In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) is a Medi-Cal program run in Orange County by the Social Services Agency. It pays individual providers and is separate from private agencies. Rolocare works with private pay clients only, and some families use us to cover the hours IHSS does not.
Before hiring any agency, you can confirm that it holds a California Home Care Organization license, and that its caregivers are on the Home Care Aide registry, through the California Department of Social Services.
Families choose Rolocare for four reasons.
Our caregivers are screened and trained.
Every caregiver is on the California Home Care Aide registry, clears a fingerprint background check, has a negative TB test and finishes our training.
Our caregivers are always rested.
No caregiver works more than 8 hours in a row, so the person with your loved one is alert and at their best.
Your care plan fits your family.
You only pay for the help your loved one needs, and you can change the schedule any time.
A real person answers your call.
You talk to our own local team, not a call center.
Families often ask us these questions.
When can I reach you?
The office is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
