24-hour care means someone is always there, day and night.

We cover every hour of the day with rested caregivers working shifts of 8 hours or less.

When check-ins are no longer enough, round-the-clock care keeps your loved one safe.

Some older adults need someone nearby at all hours, for example after a fall, during memory loss or when getting up at night is no longer safe alone.

Rolocare covers the full day in three shifts: a day caregiver for the daily routine, an evening caregiver for dinner and getting ready for bed, and an awake overnight caregiver. No caregiver works more than 8 hours in a row, so the person with your loved one is alert and at their best.

What 24-hour care can include.

During your free home visit, we build a care plan around only the tasks your loved one needs help with.

  • Bathing and showering
  • Getting dressed
  • Meal planning and cooking
  • Medication reminders
  • Help using the bathroom
  • Help preventing falls
  • Conversation and company
  • Up to 24-hour care

How 24-hour care is different from live-in care.

Rested caregivers, not one tired one.

With live-in care, one caregiver stays in the home and is expected to sleep. Our 24-hour care uses separate shifts, so someone is always awake.

Awake at night.

The overnight caregiver stays awake to help with trips to the bathroom and to help if your loved one wakes up confused or unsettled.

Flexible as needs change.

You can start with one or two shifts a day and move to full coverage, or the other way around.

Rolocare provides non-medical care only. Our caregivers do not perform nursing tasks such as injections or wound care.

Families choose Rolocare for four reasons.

Our caregivers are screened and trained.

Every caregiver is on the California Home Care Aide registry, clears a fingerprint background check, has a negative TB test and finishes our training.

Our caregivers are always rested.

No caregiver works more than 8 hours in a row, so the person with your loved one is alert and at their best.

Your care plan fits your family.

You only pay for the help your loved one needs, and you can change the schedule any time.

A real person answers your call.

You talk to our own local team, not a call center.

Families often ask us these questions.

Do you offer live-in care?

No, Rolocare does not offer live-in care. We provide 24-hour coverage with separate caregiver shifts of 8 hours or less, so a rested caregiver is always present.

Does Medicare or Medi-Cal pay for 24-hour care?

Rolocare works with private pay clients only, which means the client or family pays for care directly.

Can we start 24-hour care for a short time?

Yes. Some families use round-the-clock care for a few weeks, for example after a hospital stay, and then reduce the hours.

We provide 24-hour care across six Southern California counties: Los Angeles County, Orange County, San Bernardino County, Riverside County, San Diego County, Ventura County. If your city is not listed, please call us.
